In 1984 Mr Joan Roca established the first garment dyeing mill in Barcelona named Colormoda.
After several years of success and achieving one of the best garment dyehouses in the world due to its quality standards and R&D developments, two more dyeing houses were established; one near Madrid and the other one in Bulgaria. During those years most prestigious retailers were dyeing their garments in our facilities. In 2000 the company won the R&D award from the Catalonian government.
In 2005 Mr Joan Roca established a new business model named Technical Advice.
It was a pioneering initiative with a wide scope through all textile and leather supply chains and incorporating new expertise in those areas from spinning, weaving, wet process and chemicals. Always with a focus on sustainability and environmental impact.
Since then, Technical Advice has focused on providing the textile and leather industry with the best strategy and innovation to accelerate the transition to sustainable models.
